Everyone Needs An Emotional Support Chicken

So it’s been a busy week for both writing and non-writing.

I finished a belated present for my sister, an emotional support chicken in the colors of her favorite hockey team, the San Jose Sharks (or close enough with the yarn I had on hand).  Of course the problem with making cute things for others is that now I want to make one for me.  I’ll look at what other colors I have that appeal to me.  It may be brown, it may be orange, it may be pink.  It will not be brown/orange/pink.

Garter stitch knit chicken in teal and black with yellow eyes and beak and with a white wattle and comb.

As far as writing goes, Truly and I have gotten about the first quarter of the sequel to our paranormal romance done. We’ve put it to one side to work on the first book’s second draft.  We’re not ready to share the title of the first book.

So I’ll put out another teaser.  Watch this space, especially on Halloween!

Paperback book. The top half of the cover is torn away with the words "Revealing Soon!" Lower half is a red/blue cover and the torso of a woman in a black tank top with the words "Chaos Kin, A Jordan Abbey Novel"
