As you can see, I’m on target for may NaNoWriMo word count.
When I was writing this post on Sunday night, I had completed 9,594 words on Lucy Harker, Vampire Hunter. I’m not sure if this is that first rush of insanity with a new project, the fact that I have a fairly extensive outline, or it’s the right project at the right moment. Either way, I’m happy that I’m on target at this point. I have an idea for the ending involving a Chekov’s gun, or in this case, a Chekov’s hair brush. (Thanks to Mur Lafferty for that idea.)
Since I have 500 words minimum to do, I’m ending this post short and heading back into my manuscript. See you all in a week.
