I had a fun weekend at FOGcon, hanging out with friends and making new ones. There were a few times where I had to hold back my inner fangirl and remember that I was there as a professional. Oh, who am I kidding. I fangirled. I also met a lot of new people, all of whose names are escaping me right now.
I also attended a writer’s workshop and got some badly needed feedback on a story I’ve been having trouble selling. I think they pinpointed the problem, and gave me good suggestions on what needs strengthening. Now I need to figure out the best way to fix it.
But I’m back home now. The Terrible Trio has acknowledged my presence by loving all over my mother and sitting with their backs to me. So I’m officially back to the real world. Or I am until next weekend when I attend Silicon Valley ComicCon.
